Your Child’s Team

The ATG practice is composed of organized teams who provide an ABA Therapy plan that conform strictly to the Behavior Analyis Certification Board (BACB) guidelines. With no more than 4 patients being accepted in any given month, no team will have more than 12 patients in their care at any one time. Each team will consist of a:

  • Clients Support Case Manager
  • BCBA
  • Several Line Therapists / Registered Behavior Technicians

This model of treatments for autism was created to make sure that therapy is consistent, that care is continuous, and that parents/guardians are kept well informed and involved in the therapy and all autism treatments.

Case Manager – Sometimes evaluations and recommendations may be different or conflicting. This can be confusing and exhausting. A case manager or service coordinator can help when questions, problems, or concerns arise. A case manager keeps current records and, when appropriate, shares information about a child with professionals involved in that child’s care. It’s one very effective way to make sure a child’s needs are being met.

BCBA – Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA’s) have a doctoral or master’s degrees in Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, and other related fields. They have extensive training and experience in designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating a wide range of ABA programs for individuals with autism.

Line Therapists / Registered Behavior Technicians – ABA therapists study how behavior is influenced by environment, and treat patients accordingly. Our therapists use reward systems to reinforce positive, learned behaviors. Other techniques include incidental teaching, pivotal response training, and milieu therapy.
